Product Review: Palma Collection

Palma Collection sent me this beautiful necklace entitled the Begum. The photo really does not do it justice. The earthy feel of this necklace is a definite attention grabber, and I receive several compliments from people the first time I wore it. It is very sturdy when little ones are tugging on it and believe me when I tell you my two year old put it to the test. He was totally entralled by it and just loved rubbing the smooth surface.

The necklace is comprised of several pieces strung together with a faux-suede adjustable strap made of a durable cotton. It is vegan-friendly.

All of the Palma Collection items are made from tagua nut, a vegetable ivory. More specifically this nut comes from a palm tree that only grows in the tropical rain forests of the South American Pacific coasts. The nut is non-toxic as are the dyes used and their is no scent. These nuts are handcrafted into these beautiful pieces by their talented artisans. The collection includes necklaces, earrings, and bracelets.

The company also donates 5% of their gross sales to causes that support preserving the Earth’s resources and fighting cancer
