GIVEAWAY: Dance Me Daddy Children's Book

Three Goodies for Mom readers will each win a copy of Dance Me, Daddy by award-winning singer and song writer Cindy Morgan.

Dance Me, Daddy is a great gift for dad and his little girl this Father's Day. It celebrates the strength, safety, and unconditional love between a father and his daughter. It highlights the special bond that only a father and his daughter share. It even includes a CD to get the princess' party started from Point of Grace. The beautiful photos and melodious story will be adored by any girl being read to by her father.

From the book:
"Dance me, Daddy. Dance me around. Don’t let my feet ever touch down. There’s nothing better than being your girl. If I am your princess, then you are king of the world.”

About Cindy Morgan
A songwriter's songwriter, Cindy Morgan has garnered eighteen number one hits that include ‘Listen’, ‘Praise the King’, ‘Take my life’, and ‘I Know You’; as well as Point of Grace’s recent hit ‘How You Live’. Smith, Point Of Grace, Avalon, Rachael Lampa, Brit Nicole, Mandisa, The Martins, Michael English, BeBe Winans, Sandi Patty, Jaci Velasquez, Mark Schultz, John Tesh, and Natalie Grant.

We had a farm out in the country. Every afternoon when my Dad got off work, he'd load up our 2 Boxers and take them out for a run. I loved going out there with him. We had some of our best "talks' out there.

my best memories with my dad are when he would take just me, not mom or brother, out hunting for the weekend. The weekend was all about me and those are memories I will always have.

Mine is when he would peel some potatoes cut them up and make us the best french fries. It was just so wonderful because he would talk to us the whole time and actually listen to us when we had something to say. Thank you!

I have a bunch of favorites, like dad doing class projects with me, building the deck together, him taking me out for a father/daughter dinner or the 2 of us going to see Phantom of the Opera at the Pantages Theater in Toronto. I have a bunch of great memories with my dad! :-)

When I was small my father would take me to visit my grandmother on Sunday mornings. Back then kids could ride in the front seat. Whenever we went anywhere else my brother and I would ride in the back seat, but I'll never forget those Sunday morning trips in the front of the car, just me and my dad. It made me feel unbelievably special.

My dad used to take my sister and I for a Sunday afternoon outing every week to the Bronx Zoo and the Botanical Gardens. After all the walking and playing and running and learning, dad would take us to Howard Johnson's for an ice cream Sundae. These memories are indeed amongst the most wonderful.

My mother died when I was a child, so we had to pay for childcare and money was always tight.
In the summer evenings, my father would take my sister and I to different neighborhood parks. He'd read his paper and talk to us, as we played on the equipment.

I lost my dad this April and will miss him terribly.

I have lots of favorite memories but if I had to choose only one it would be one of our daddy daughter dates that my Dad took me fishing. It was just us and we got to sit and talk and just spend some special moments together!

I loved playing ball with my dad. He got me my own glove so I could play catch with him and my brother. I was horrible but I still got to "play with the boys!"

I think this would be a great book for my girls to read with their dad.

I didn't have a relationship with my father, but my daughter has the most wonderful daddy! Every day my husband comes home from work and he and our daughter go and play. He tosses her on the bed, runs around with her, sings silly songs - I know she'll remember that he took the time to do all of those things with her! They would love to read this book at bedtime together! Thanks for the giveaway.

I liked to race cars around the track I got for Christmas one year with my dad while our cats watched, mesmerized! And, sometimes we played Goony Golf together, which was fun even though he beat me badly :)

My father loved to sing and was the choir director for his church. Before he died we took him to Houston for chemotherapy and while staying at a place they housed patients they had a hymn sing one night. He sang his heart out. I couldn't help but cry because he probably knew he was dying but he still enjoyed singing to the end.

Thanks.

My dad was famous for being able to fall asleep anytime, anywhere. One of my favorite memories was when I was a kid and we were at a fair/carnival not far from our house and, amidst all of the noise and chaos going on, there's my dad asleep under a tree.

Thanks!

My dad had me in a fishing boat when I was still in diapers. By the time I could hold things, he had a fishing pole in my hand. I went fishing with my dad whenever possible and still do to this day. We have the best time together! Thanks!
