Dutch Boy Refresh Paint Helps Fight Odors

This comes at exactly the right time for us. We just had a leaky upstairs toilet flood our closet, laundry room, and downstairs bathroom. We will be doing some serious unplanned home repairs and painting over the next few weeks.

Dutch Boy just launched a new line of paint they report fights common household smells. Developed in conjunction with Arm & Hammer, Refresh™ is the first paint that works to help fight unpleasant smells like pet odors, and cigarette smoke. They describe it as a box of baking soda on your walls. Refresh paint is the first premium quality paint with Arm & Hammer® Odor Eliminating Technology and zero volatile organic compounds (VOC).

To promote Refresh, Dutch Boy is running a contest called My House Stinks. They are looking for those of you out there with messy rooms. [I am sure none of our GFM readers have messy rooms, right? ;-). OK, fess up!] To enter, just submit a picture and a short description of your messiest room at the My House Stinks website. The room receiving the most votes wins $5,000 and 50 gallons of Refresh to help rejuvenate their living spaces! (Second prize: $2,500 and 25 gallons of Refresh; third prize: $1,000 and 10 gallons of Refresh.) Plus if you don't have a messy room (You neat freak come over to my house will ya?) you still have a chance to win, every month they will be giving one lucky voter four gallons of Refresh just for voting in the messiest-looking room contest!

Coming soon: watch for a review of this product, since we WILL be painting in the near future. (Did I mention that I hate painting??? Oh well, you gotta do what you gotta do, right?)
