Autism One Radio Introduces TRP Wellness OT

On March 6, 2009, Jackie Olson and Britt Collins will be joining together to host a radio program entitled "TRP Wellness OT" on Autism One Radio. The mother and occupational therapist team will take a closer look at what occupational therapy (OT) can offer children with autism and help show parents things they can do to incorporate sensory activities into their child’s day. Occupational therapy can benefit children with autism by working to improve their quality of life through meaningful experiences. Olson, a mother who has a son with autism, collaborating with an occupational therapist bring a unique perspective to the new show.

“Britt and I are excited to share our passion and her expertise of OT with Autism One Radio listeners.” ‐ Jackie Olson, TRPwellness.com

Jackie Olson is an active participant in the special needs community. She combined her career as a filmmaker with her passion for helping special needs children to create an occupational therapy DVD series in collaboration with occupational therapist Britt Collins.

About Autism One
Autism One is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit charity organization started by a small group of parents of children with autism. Parents are and must remain the driving force of our community, the stakes are too high and the issues too sacred to delegate to outside interests. Our hosts include the most knowledgeable autism experts across a variety of fields. Many are also parents of children with autism, a great number recovered or on the road to recovery. Their combination of education, experience, passion, and insight puts theory into practice helping turn difficult questions into real‐life answers. http://www.autismoneradio.org/.
