Check out The Librarian on TBS Tonight

If you can break out from the holiday preparation, please check out THE LIBRARIAN: CURSE OF THE JUDAS CHALICE on TBS tonight at 8PM EST.

The third in TBS's popular Librarian franchise, the movie stars Noah Wyle (formerly of ER) as Flynn Carsen. Other famous stars include Bob Newhart, and Jane Curtin.

Flynn is combination of Clark Kent and 007 James Bond. He has tons of tricks up his sleeve to get the evil doers yet his boyish charm gives him almost a naive quality.

The story begins as Professor Lazlo, a history expert at the University of Bucharest, is kidnapped and taken hostage by a group that wants to force him to locate the Judas Chalice. They devise to use the cup, which was made from the silver Judas received for betraying Jesus, in order to bring Prince Vlad Dracul back to life and bring evil on the world.

When the Chalice is found, Flynn and Simone, gorgeous New Orleans jazz club singer, must do everything in their power to prevent Vlad Dracul from implementing his evil plan. Helping from the sidelines are Judson (Newhart), the enigmatic and always surprising head of the Library, and Charlene (Curtin), the extremely serious-minded, no-nonsense personnel director

I'm not a big fan of movies with vampires in them but this was an action packed adventure that kept you on the edge of your seat and cheering for Flynn to overcome the evil and save the world. Besides who would not want to look at Wylie for two hours anyway?

Check it out tonight at 8PM EST on TBS.
