Johnson's® and March of Dimes® are partnering together to build awareness and raise funds to help reduce premature births in the US. They are launching the partnership in conjunction with "Prematurity Awareness Month." The goal of the program is build awareness of the growing problem of premature birth, and raise funds to support the initiatives of March of Dimes.
Johnson's® in pledging to donate 10 cents for each of their baby products purchased during the months of November and December to the March of Dimes, up to $100,000. They will also launch a campaign that includes direct mail, retail displays, and web. They plan to reach over 700,000 moms nationwide.
Dr. Jennifer L. Howse, President of the March of Dimes states, "It is our hope that 'Prematurity Awareness Month' brings public attention to the serious problem of premature birth and inspires others to do all they can to make sure the babies within their families and communities are born full term."
