Product Review: FlattenMe Books Puts Your Little One Into The Adventure

As school starts, we've found a great way to get your children excited about reading for the new year. It's called Flattenme Books and it takes personalization books one step further. Not only is your child's name included but it also includes their photo so they see themselves right in middle of these whimsical adventures. From pirates to adventures under the sea to a baby book for your new baby, your child can choose from one of six personalized stories.

Flattenme's award winning personalized storybooks have been on the Today Show, The View, Good Morning America, and many others, and are owned by mothers like Madonna and Reese Witherspoon.

All you have to do is send them a high-resolution photo and they do the rest. When we received our customized book, my five year old was so excited to open the box when I told him what it was. He glowed when he saw "Here There Be Pirates" with his photo on the cover. He could not wait to read it that night as our special story at story time. He anxiously looked for his photo on each page and listened attentively for his name. It's one of his favorite books and he could not wait to take it that week for show-n-tell so he could show all his friends at school. I think we'll be ordering one for little brother for Christmas, because he loves to look at his big brother in the story too.

This week, they released "GlitterGills," which takes your little one on an Under-the-Sea adventure they will never forget!

The books sell for $39.95 and the quality is well worth it for what will be a treasured gift. Their store also has fairy and pirate costumes to get your little one into the story even more. Plus, a portion of their proceeds go to First Book, an international non-profit focused on literacy.
