The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, in cooperation with Optave Inc., has announced a voluntary recall of approximately 250 Action Baby Carriers. Consumers should stop using recalled carrier in the positions that require the use of the chest strap. The baby carrier’s chest strap can detach from the shoulder straps, posing a fall hazard to the baby. Two cases of the chest strap detaching from the shoulder straps on the baby carrier have been reported. Thankfully no injuries have been reported.
