Money-Saving Tips

As gas prices remain high, prices continue to rise, and money seems tight for everyone, there is no better time to figure out how to save a little money. Having a busy family makes anything that involves a large amount of time just not going to work. Here are some simple money-saving tips I've found that I thought I'd share:

  • Use printable coupons from online - just do a search for the name of what you are looking for and coupon.
  • Order online - many companies offer free shipping on larger orders and discounted prices, so just order enough to get the free shipping and you save the gas running around looking for the items you need. Make sure to watch for coupons codes for added savings.
  • Bring your breakfast/lunch to work - I need to work on this one!
  • Watch for sales on consumable and stock up like paper towels and toilet paper.
  • Make sure you have the store customer cards whereever you shop.
  • Many movie theaters have before noon specials or on certain days where tickets are even below mantinee prices.
  • Shop outlets slightly after the season starts to get items that have been reduced but still the right season for what you need.

Now, it's your turn to share your best money-saving tips because I know I can use them even if no one else can. ;) Just leave a comment below with your best tip.

I find to make lunch for work it is so much easier if I do it at the same time as my daughter's school lunch is prepared - and healthier!
