The Environmental Working Group (EWG) performed an investigation of nearly 1,000 brand-name sunscreen products. What it found out could make you and your little one burn in more ways than one!
The EWG found that four out of five sunscreens contain chemicals that may pose health hazards or do not adequately protect your skin from the sun's damaging rays. Some of the worst offenders are some of the most popular such as Coppertone, Banana Boat, and Neutrogena.
The Environmental Working Group has created a comprehensive sunscreen guide—including a list of 143 products that offer very good sun protection to help you stay safe while having fun in the sun.

Thanks for the information. I have two little ones and will be buying sunscreen for them. I will definitely look more into this before purchasing.

I just did a post on EWG's database and how I used it to decide what sunscreen to buy for my son. It's a great site don't you think?!
Your site is great too...I like the green, eco-friendly, and safety articles you post.
