Inexpensive Mother's Day Ideas

Here are some simple, inexpensive Mother's Day ideas that dad and kids can do together for mom this weekend from gift giving expert and founder of Bowdabra, Sandy Sandler:..

Family Craft Project: To help celebrate Mother's Day together, kids and dad can do a craft project together. This results in great family together time while joining creative forces. Go to the store get a one stem glass or plastic/acrylic vase (the dollar store is great for this). Then go to the craft store and get paints to paint the glass. There are special paints available (or even decopage with family pictures). Both of these projects are simple and result in a special, personalized gift for mom."

Breakfast for Mom: Another idea is to have the kids and dad prepare breakfast for mom (see recipe links below), and then plan a picnic with mom in the park. This results in spending time together celebrating mom and doing something for mom.
