Seventh Generation Promotes Breast Cancer Cause

Seventh Generation announced today its sponsorship of a special initiative to help defeat breast cancer. The manufacturer of environmentally-preferable consumer products will join together with 19 other leading natural product companies with an aim at raising awareness of breast cancer, and promoting an ongoing fundraising drive for Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

“Breast cancer is an illness I’m all too familiar with,” says Company president Jeffrey Hollender, “It’s struck my immediate family twice now, and I’m committed to seeing it eradicated. This event is about spreading the word that our lifestyles can have a positive impact on our health in many ways. It’s a perfect fit for our company because that’s what we’ve always been about—showing the connection between many of the choices we make and the wellness of our families."
