Yesterday was a snow day. Yippee!!!! Today was 32 degrees with a water temperature of 38 degrees. That is just plain cold and my crazy husband along with 3,000 other crazy people plunged into the cold Atlantic Ocean.
Why? To benefit the Special Olympics of NJ. There were hoards of people on the beach and boardwalk. You could hardly walk.
A preliminary total raised so far is $700,000+ (WOW!) with more still coming it. All to go toward providing programs for special needs children in the state of NJ.
