Liz Szabo of USA TODAY wrote a great article this week entitled "Safety first for holiday toys." She offers lots of resources for getting more information on making safer holiday toy choices this year.
One of the resources cited in the article is a great mom blog called amomsblog.wordpress.com. The blog deals with health and safety for the whole family.
With new lead standards taking effect February 10, 2009, Rep. Jan Schakowsky, D-Ill. warns that stores may mark down toys with high lead levels to sell them before the deadline.
